County 2 in the village of New
Wexford located just east of
Prescott's town limits.
For those coming
via
Highway
westbound or eastbound 401 exit
#721 south to the
(County
Road 2) and turn right.
Countryman’s Estate Winery is
located on the north side of the
road (the St Lawrence River is on
the south side) with the postal location of
#3608. Here you will see a display
of antique farm machinery and our
Countryman’s Estate Winery signs.

Details... Hwy 401 exit
Hwy #16 South. At the corner
of Highway #16 and County Road
#2 turn right (west). The
river seen on your left is the
St Lawrence River and the land
mass on the other side is the
United States.
.5 km from the corner is a gas
station on your right hand side
(north). On your left you
will see the Johnstown Grain
Elevator, huge grain storage
bins, and salt pile which is
about 1.6 km from the corner.
Commerce Drive is on your right
at 2.4 km and then Newport Drive
at 3.2 and then you will see
Windmill Road at 3.6 km.
This road leads to the famous
Battle of the Windmill site
where the US battled the
Canadians during the war in
1838.
A wee bit farther (4.2 km from
the corner of Highway #16 and
County Road #2) you will
see Countryman's Estate Winery
on your right hand side.
Or... Exit Hwy 401 Exit
#716 South at
Edward Street Prescott.
Continue southbound to Prescott
Downtown Area as far as
you can go which is County Road
#2. Make a left hand turn
(east) and proceed along Hwy # 2
and you will pass Ft Wellington
and the Prescott Golf Club. You
will now enter New Wexford.
Countryman's is on the left hand
side (north) and the St Lawrence
River is on your right.
